11:00 FIRST RUN (finally) |
12:00 White OUT this image is my favorite of the 24 hours because I like the crispness of the snow on the trees. I think it captured the day and how everything was monotone - just covered in white. |

my favorite image of your set was the one of lemons. i like the way you set the up side by side, and i just noticed that you put the bottoms of the lemons diagonally from each other as well as the tops...nice touch. good use of flash too
ReplyDelete"9:00 Last photo for saturday (not making 24hrs body dead)" (A Day in the Life of Amanada Markell) This is my favorite! I love the way the lamp in the foreground repeats the shape of the records that are hanging from the wall.. the interesting angle of the camera (and desk!) as well as the way the light hits the backpacks, all add to the photograph
ReplyDelete"8:00 PM More paper towel roll pictures" is a very interesting photograph. Who would have thought of taking a picture through a paper towel roll? I think it's unique and makes an interesting composition.
ReplyDeleteI like the contrast of the flowers against the snow, it reminds me of spring when those first begin to pop up.
ReplyDeleteI also really enjoy the photos of the desk, the ton of the lighting is really lovely.
I love the dryer picture! It's such a strange scenario. I also really like the contrast of the bright flowers against the monotone winter landscape. The woodpile also had a really nice composition
ReplyDeleteI love the picture of an eyeball through a papertowel roll. I think that it really stands out because the majority of the picture is lighter than the eye. I also like how the very beginning of the paper towel roll is blurred.
ReplyDelete4:00pm caught my attention. The craziness of the wood against the simplicity of the tree makes this photo interesting to look at. I like how you divided the photo with the tree trunk on the left, the choppier wood on top, and the smaller circle cut wood in the bottom. I enjoyed many of your other photos, you have a very creative eye.
ReplyDeleteI really like the wood picture. It really caught my eye. All of the different sizes and shapes of the wood compared to the actual tree right next to it was amazing.
ReplyDeleteI like 8:00pm Fruit for my Sangria as well as the shot of the wood pile. Both are simple and straight forward. The fruit picture has a nice balanced composition, while the wood pile is off balance with the tree on the left. I also enjoy how the cut of wood changes from the bottom of the pile to the top.
ReplyDelete"2:00 Still lunch breaking!" is my favorite photograph. I love how the sky and mountains dominate the top half of the photograph and the eery effect of the fog above and the sun trying to break through. It is a great photo documenting a day of skiing.
ReplyDelete8:00 PM More paper towel roll pictures
ReplyDeleteI can't commend you enough for changing it up, and being unique with your image composition. The paper towel roll self portrait is fantastic, and I enjoy the lighting. Great job!
"8:00 fruit for my sangria" the colors represented in both the oranges and lemons are strong and bold. the direct composition of the four fruits is really nice, nicely framed, evenly positioned on the table. the flash gave a nice finishing touch to the overall photo as well as brighten it up
ReplyDeletemy favorite is "9:00 Last photo for Saturday (not making 24hrs body dead)" i like the central light source and that is does not totaly blackout the rest of the photo.
ReplyDeleteI love the paper towel roll pictures. What a fun way to take something boring and make it exciting! I love how the focus is through the tube, and that I probably would not have know it was a paper towel roll unless you had said that.
ReplyDeleteI really like your yellow flower photo. The Yellow really pops against all that white. I like how the background is blurry making the flower the primary focus, yet the flower is taken at an profile angle. It's overall a very nice photo
